IRIS Enterprise Software short-listed for Accountancy Age Award 19 Oct 2005
The Awards, which are now in their eleventh year, are firmly established as the benchmark that the profession uses to measure success. They recognize the contribution of individuals, teams and organizations, their performance and results.
Based in Bournemouth and acquired by the IRIS Group in March 2005, Exchequer (now IRIS Enterprise Software) holds the unique accolade of having won more mid-range accounting software awards than any other author. Most recently, Exchequer was named 'Financial Software Provider of the Year (smaller implementations)' in the Real Finance /CBI FDs' Excellence Awards 2005.
Exchequer is a robust mid-range accounting and business solution that is affordable, scaleable and proven to improve productivity. Recognised as one of the most innovative systems available in the mid-market sector, Exchequer 'makes it easier' for 15,000 companies across 40 countries to run their businesses.
Martin Leuw, Group Chief Executive said: "Winning an Accountancy Age Award is considered within the industry to be the pinnacle of achievement and we are delighted that the outstanding efforts of the Exchequer team have been recognised in this way. We will all be keeping our fingers tightly crossed, hoping that the team can repeat their previous successes and win the 'Mid-Range Software Package of the Year' Award for a fourth time."
The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony, one of the highlights of the profession's calendar, on Wednesday, 9th November at London's Battersea Park Arena.
Note to editors: IRIS has been named as one of the national finalists in the 'The CMS Cameron McKenna Business of the Year Award' category of the National Business Awards, an independent programme recognising business excellence sponsored by Orange.
