Exchequer Enterprise Version 5.61 - Preview

New release of Exchequer Enterprise will provide users with timely and accurate management reporting information within an easy to use format

At Softworld Accounting & Finance in October, Exchequer Software showcased the latest version of Exchequer Enterprise, v5.61. The reporting capabilities of v5.61 will enable companies to effortlessly and accurately compile reports within an easy to use format.

The eradication of complex rules and conditions in the Report Writer module provides users with the flexibility to produce daily, weekly, monthly or annual reports at any time. In addition, v5.61 utilises OLE technology to link dynamically with Microsoft Excel and HTML formats, ensuring that users can create up-to-the-minute reports for budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, consolidations and financial modelling.

Users of Exchequer Enterprise are also able to take advantage of Sentimail®, a proactive business alerts module. Sentimail® has two main functions - it enables users to define business-alerts, which have specific conditions (such as overdue debts, low stock, bank balances, low Gross Profit margins etc.) to be alerted, either via an email or SMS text message. Secondly, it enables reports to be automatically scheduled for any time, day or frequency and automatically distributed via fax or email to any number of recipients.

Eduardo Loigorri, Managing Director of Exchequer Software says, "The development of v5.61 will offer end-users a much broader range of reporting capabilities than they would typically expect to receive from their business and accounting software. Management reporting is not a 'nice to have' option - any growing business must have excellent understanding and control of its Key Performance Indicators, from profit margins and stock levels, to debtor days and cash flow. V5.61 also includes the new 'description only' stock module. This new, specialised functionality is a shorter version of stock control than enables 'description only' to be used, therefore is ideal for companies within the service sector.

Another new feature within v5.61 enables wider scope for opportunity selling. For example, if an item is ordered which is out of stock an alternative can be offered. It can also accommodate promotional pricing for example if a customer purchases a pair of shoes the system enables the retailer to offer a matching handbag. This feature can also be used for date-based pricing and obsolete stock, further strengthening the stock capabilities within Exchequer Enterprise.
