New Release from Financial Software Provider of the Year brings added benefits 14 Dec 2005
The latest version (5.70) of Exchequer from IRIS Enterprise Software is now being shipped to customers.
The latest update adds further reporting capabilities and functionality to this award-winning accounting and business solution.
Key enhancements include a Goods Returns module and a new Visual Report Writer, designed to improve productivity for its customer base of 15,000 companies across 40 countries.
The Goods Returns module enhances the capabilities of organisations within the retail and distribution environment allowing the comprehensive management of both Sales and Purchase returns.
Version 5.70 manages the return of faulty or damaged goods and can facilitate the relevant replacement or recompense. Returned stock can be managed from the following perspectives:
- Between the Exchequer user and their customer
- Between the Exchequer user and their supplier
- To manage returned goods from a customer, to the Exchequer user and onwards to the original supplier
- The introduction of the Visual Report Writer, featuring a new graphical interface and an intuitive report creation wizard, allows users to generate reports more quickly and more easily.
The Visual Report Writer delivers increased reporting flexibility including the option to change the font or colour of database fields, text boxes and formulas ensuring a professional image at all times. A drag and drop user interface and a drill down option from the reports screen preview enables users to achieve the look and feel they want in a fraction of the time.
Once the report has been produced, it is possible to export it in a selection of formats including XLS, CSV, HTML, Email and Fax. In addition to the new functionality all the core fundamentals such as 'Test mode', 'Report Tree', 'Connectivity with Sentimail®, and 'choice of whether to include a field on the report output', have been carried forward into the new user interface. Recognised as one of the most innovative systems available in the mid-market sector, Exchequer 'makes it easier' for companies to run their businesses.
